Friends of Malheur National Wildlife Refuge seeks an Executive Director to lead it's Friends Group at the Malheur National Wildlife Refgue located in SE Oregon. This position is responsible for the daily management of the organization including membership development, budgeting, program planning, implementation and oversight, office management, volunteer recruitment and supervision, fundraising and annual giving programs, grant writing, digital media including the E-newsletter and Facebook page and nature store management. The Executive Director is also responsible for working in close partnership with the Board of Directors to manage the financial health and overall direction of the organization and coordinating closely with refuge staff.
The Executive Director position is currently the only staff position for the organization and is based at the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge headquarters, 32 miles SSE of Burns, Oregon.
