The Youth Programs Course Director (School Year CD) is responsible for oversight of every aspect of course quality, delivery, and safety for Connections and Discovery Courses during the school year. The CD is expected to provide 24-hour support for Field Staff throughout the duration of the course to assist with curriculum support, behavior management, medical emergencies, and evacuation procedures. The CD serves as the primary liaison between facilitators, clients and island operations. This includes leading course briefing and prep meetings, development of course schedule, working with logistics staff, kitchen staff and other TIOBEC departments to ensure efficient course management and delivery within the parameters of the island systems. The Youth Programs Course Director may also fill the role of Course Director in the summer season for one of our four summer programs (see summer openings for more information on these positions).
