Diversion Crew Supervisor

Texas Conservation Corps at American YouthWorks

The Clean & Green Program is an environmental and criminal justice initiative of the Harris County District Attorney’s Office in partnership with the Texas Conservation Corps at American YouthWorks. The program was designed to divert non-violent first offenders around the justice system and into community service opportunities providing a restorative alternative to traditional prosecution, which benefits offenders and the community.

The Clean & Green Program Crew Supervisor is responsible for the planning and implementation of conservation service projects and the direct supervision of program participants, leading them in the day-to-day field work, and implementing and maintaining a safe, quality, highly effective operational programming in the office and in the field, as this position represents American YouthWorks’ Texas Conservation Corps program at local and regional meetings and events.

Construction Trainer

Texas Conservation Corps at American YouthWorks

The Construction Trainer leads teams of young people (18-28 yrs old) in disaster recovery construction projects, primarily low-income single-family residential home repairs. The Trainer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising construction projects including teaching, training and mentoring young adults in the skills pertaining to the construction, renovation, remodeling, repair, maintenance and demolition of a structure.

Summer Youth Crew Supervisor

The Summer Youth Crew Supervisor assists the Youth Initiatives Coordinator with the supervision of AmeriCorps crew members and leaders and the daily management of safe and effective field operations. This position will help train leaders and members to prepare for their summer season, manage projects according to partner expectations and AYW standards, maintain project related documents in shared electronic files, and help maintain facility and tools.

Baton Rouge Program Manager

Louisiana Conservation Corps at American YouthWorks

The Baton Rouge Program Manager is responsible for coordinating and supporting all aspects of the Louisiana program’s operation, development, and expansion. Program Manager will develop and maintain project partnerships, facilitate AmeriCorps grant compliance, and support administrative needs for field operations in order to implement and maintain quality, safe, highly effective operational programming.

Houston Program Manager

Texas Conservation Corps at American YouthWorks

The Houston Program Manager is responsible for coordinating and supporting all aspects of the Houston program’s operation, development, and expansion. Program Manager will develop and maintain project partnerships, facilitate AmeriCorps grant compliance, and support administrative needs for field operations in order to implement and maintain quality, safe, highly effective operational programming.
