About the Company 

ArcheWild is a rapidly growing professional ecological restoration firm with clients in PA, NJ, MD, OH, NY, DE, WV. We participate in the design and implementation of stream/river, forest, and meadow restoration plus the reimagining of large privately-owned farms. ArcheWild also operates ArcheWild Native Nurseries, the 2nd largest private genotyped native plant nursery on the East Coast. 

About You 

We are looking for flexible, experienced Field Managers who are passionate about working collaboratively on restoration work in the field. Applicants with substantial experience with large-scale planting, invasive management, trail building, and performing ecological assessments will be prioritized. 

About the Position 

Primary Responsibilities:  

  • Manage work team to perform restoration work in the field, including large-scale restoration planting, invasive control, operating forestry and farm machinery, and biological surveys.
  • Support the Project Manager in developing and implementing project plans. 
  • Use and develop best practices in planting technique, invasive management, and efficient equipment usage. 
  • Maintain active licenses and certifications.

Minimum Requirements: 

  • BA or BS in Environmental Sciences, or related field, and previous project management experience,


  • Minimum of 4 years of in-field restoration experience 
  • Current Pesticide Applicator License, or is willing to acquire a license immediately

Terms of Employment 

  • Full time, year-round
  • $35,000 - $42,500 annually, commensurate with education and experience
