As a Fish and Wildlife Administrator, you will perform the following duties:

  • Serve as the Director of the Office of Aquaculture overseeing the day-to-day policy, regulatory, scientific, information technology, administrative, and facility operations.
  • Design and implement the Office of Aquaculture’s program’s strategy, review program progress, and report on program activities and results to NOAA, the Administration, Congress, and stakeholders.
  • Recommend fiscal and managerial solutions to address conflicts and foster synergies between aquaculture operations and protected marine resources and commercial and recreational fishing activities.
  • Oversee preparation of budget documents and reports, and lead effective strategic and annual planning.
  • Represent the program in aquaculture-related forums both domestically and internationally as the aquaculture subject matter lead.
