  • Coordinates and facilitates the development and implementation of State/Territory grants which effectively support State/Territory management needs.
  • Monitors and evaluates project activities in the field to determine progress in accomplishment of stated project objectives.
  • Reviews progress and results of projects to confirm that proposals constitute effective and efficient expenditure of funds.
  • Identifies special training and research needs of the collective State of Alaska and Tribes and provides the means to address those needs.
  • Reviews a wide array of current literature and maintains peer contacts to keep informed of new techniques, procedures, results, and management strategies to gain information for use in program facilitation and coordination.
