The land conservation specialist applies complex project-management skills including, technical real estate expertise, and land conservation knowledge to accomplish agency mission and goals by

(1) managing and facilitating, and completing complex, unique land acquisition projects for the fisheries, wildlife, and parks divisions;

(2) carrying out land exchanges and easement and right-of-way transactions related to the Department’s varied real estate interests;

(3) complying with regulations and policies for multiple project funding sources project funding sources; and

(4) serving as an internal and external information source on FWP land interests, Department programs, available funding sources and each funding’s requirements, and insuring compliance with state and federal policies and laws.
