Pay: $13 per hour, 20 hours per week (year-round)

Duties: The Natural History Interpretation Aide will design and conduct a variety of natural history programs throughout the park system. Examples include birding programs, Boy Scout and Girl Scout programs, canoeing and more. This Interpretation Aide will travel to and from a variety of parks and parklands to research, design, and conduct natural history programs according to NAI (National Association for Interpretation) standards. Other duties include maintaining inventories for program supplies, updating species lists, and reporting program data. The individual in this position will be expected to converse effectively and efficiently with a wide variety of people and maintain professional certifications with NAI.
