$25.00 - $48.00 / hour - Dependent on relevant experience

• Coordinator Level (3-5 years’ experience): $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
• Senior / Fractional Level (5+ years, proven major gifts track record: $36.00 - $48.00/hr.

The Tampa Bay Conservancy's mission is to protect the greater Tampa Bay region's natural, cultural, scenic and agricultural heritage through fee simple acquisition and conservation easements for the benefit of present and future generations.

Founded in 2001, TBC is an accredited land trust by the Land Trust Accreditation Commission. We work with willing landowners, community groups, and state and local agencies across Hillsborough, Hernando, Citrus, Pasco, Pinellas, and Polk to permanently protect land. We fill critical conservation niches not covered by government land preservation programs.

THE ROLE

We are seeking a Donor Engagement Coordinator to develop financial support for our organization. This Part-Time role is responsible for expansion of our donor program, both corporate and individual. A qualified individual should possess skills to combine donor engagement, major gift fundraising, grant writing and event coordination. Work is remote with weekly virtual updates and periodic attendance at virtual board meetings. Fractional appointments will be considered. The preferred candidate should have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role with a nonprofit organization, and be located within the Greater Tampa Bay area.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Expand individual and corporate donor programs
• Drive major gift fundraising
• Assist in planning and executing fundraising events

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 3 years' experience in a similar role with a nonprofit organization
• Demonstrated skills in key fundraising areas
• Self-directed, highly organized, able to work independently in a remote environment
• Located within the Greater Tampa Bay area required
• Passion for land conservation and environmental protection
