The Aquatic Invasive Species Educator will work with the AIS Coordinator to implement the Michigan Invasive Species Grant Program grant, which funds the Benzie, Leelanau and Manistee Counties Aquatic Invasive Species Pathways Project.
Primary duties include working as a team to conduct educational boat wash events in 3 counties at public launch sites. Other responsibilities include: working with conservation districts, lake associations and project partners; engaging volunteers; and to provide educational materials on identifying aquatic invasive species.
