Summer Nature Immersion Teacher (Flex Role)

Wee Folk Forest Kindergarten is seeking a magical human to teach at our nature-immersion program for ages 2 1/2 to 6. This position is a "flex" role, requiring a somewhat flexible schedule and availability. Because this is our first summer in Steamboat Springs, staffing is dependent upon enrollment.

We are seeking someone with the following skills/attributes:

  • Kind and warm with a love for children and; prior, relevant experience with children
  • Committed to developing a keen nature awareness and cultivating a love for nature in children
  • Fun! With a love for including everyone and creative problem-solving
  • Must be masterful with groups of children, helping all to feel successful, with a non-competitive focus
  • Must have knowledge of the critical social-emotional development happening for this age group

Possible dates include: May 28-August 9: 8:15-3:45 (or 4:45 possible) Mon-Tues-Wed-Thurs-Fri

At our location at Saddle Ridge in Steamboat Springs (300+ acre property), approximately 10 minutes from downtown Steamboat.
