The Administrative Assistant serves as the first point of contact for park customers and plays a key role in supporting daily office operations. This position helps create a welcoming and professional experience for visitors and callers while providing a wide range of administrative and financial support to Park District staff and programs. Responsibilities include assisting customers with the online reservation system, processing payments and daily deposits, maintaining files and records, supporting purchasing and inventory tracking, preparing reports, and helping ensure efficient and accurate office procedures. This position reports to the Office Manager.

The Administrative Assistant represents the Park District in a positive and professional manner, handles confidential information with care, communicates effectively with the public and staff, and contributes to a team-oriented, customer-focused work environment.
