The Analyst, Operations will plan, write, and edit operating procedures to improve program and project management related processes. The Analyst, Operations supports the administration and continuous improvement of Canacre’s processes through document management and administration, assessment reviews and audits.

In addition your role will be to:

  • Develop, maintain, and improve company wide processes, tools, and infrastructures including project/resource planning and scheduling, problem/issue reporting and tracking.
  • Support the implementation, tracking, and continuous improvement of interdepartmental policies and department standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of process improvements into various departments. Facilitate communication and knowledge-sharing to enhance overall organizational efficiency.
  • Develop and deliver training programs related to newly implemented processes, ensuring that employees across the organization are well-versed in the updated procedures. Monitor the effectiveness of training initiatives and make adjustments as needed.
  • Stay up to date with  industry best practices and advancements in process management. Regularly conduct benchmarking exercises and research to identify innovative solutions that can further enhance the company's operational processes.
  • Assist to review and develop and edit processes, guidelines, reference documents, manuals, and templates to support continuous improvement.
  • Assist the company with the development of quality control plans for projects and resources.
  • Provide support through the quality review and coordination of changes before the release of interdepartmental policies and procedures as well as post-implementation reviews following the releases.
  • Document and track changes to standard operating procedures and respond to data queries, internally or externally, ensuring updates to other impacted documents are addressed.
  • Develop detailed project/work plan templates, flow charts and track progress.
  • Maintain comprehensive process/project processes and templates.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree specializing in English, Business, Project Management, Quality Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years professional experience in quality management, project management, or operations.
  • Previous experience in consulting or construction industries is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in using advanced process mapping tools such as Visio or other specialized software with hands-on experience in creating detailed process maps and flowcharts to visually represent and analyze workflows.
  • Proven experience in change management processes, showcasing the ability to guide and support teams through transitions resulting from process enhancements. The candidate should have a strategic mindset to mitigate resistance and ensure successful implementation of changes.
  • Working knowledge of quality management systems and processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Results-oriented with effective organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Ability to understand the balance between standardization and flexibility.
  • Ability to adapt to rapid change in a high-pressure environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio, and Teams.
  • Service minded.
  • Quality Auditor, Six Sigma, Lean or similar accreditation is considered an asset.
