BiosphereRestoration.org is looking for applicants for our Biosphere Restoration Fall Research Internship. BiosphereRestoration.org is a startup conservation organization who's mission is to educate and empower the 8+ billion people on this planet to restore ecosystems and watersheds in their nations and homelands by planting trees and installing leaky weirs and beaver dam analogs to sequester carbon, reverse Global Warming and desertification, and stop the current mass extinction.
Biosphere Restoration Fall Research Interns will assist in many diverse tasks including conducting literature reviews, researching diverse methods to restore the biosphere, writing content for the website (BiosphereRestoration.org) and the YouTube channel, designing scientific figures and various educational materials, assisting in video production, scouting out potential filming locations, working in ArcGIS Pro, Adobe Photoshop and PowerPoint, and working in harsh field conditions (e.g., hiking in streams and wetlands, snorkling and filming seagrass meadows, operating boats offshore, camping on barrier islands, etc.).
Please send a cover letter, resume, and 3 references (with phone numbers) to John Baker, Ph.D. at BiosphereRestoration@gmail.com.
