CCS/UIC Professional – Open

Trihydro, one of the top environmental and engineering consulting firms in the country, has an opening for a mid- to senior-level CCS/UIC professional. The ideal candidate will join our Industrial, Commercial, & Energy Services Business Unit and assist in providing clients across many industries with effective, responsive, and safe solutions. We are actively involved in multiple carbon capture and sequestration, and deep underground injection control well projects across the U.S. and are looking for an experienced project manager to support our growing CCS/UIC portfolio.

Role Overview

Responsibilities include project management for: (1) UIC well design, permitting, and drilling oversight projects for various industrial clients; (2) technical support for ongoing carbon sequestration/Class VI UIC well permitting and baseline data collection projects; (3) permitting and regulatory support for various industrial clients; and (4) other technical, business development, and marketing support, as needed. The position involves a mix of field and office responsibilities as well as travel to various project locations across the U.S.

The location for this role can be flexible. Because the role involves travel, candidates should be based near an airport that allows for convenient flights. Preferred locations include CO, TX, FL, CA, WY, NE.

Required Qualifications  

Our team is looking for someone who has:

  • A BS in environmental science or chemical/petroleum engineering
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience
  • Environmental industry employment history as an environmental project manager with responsibility for managing staff and contractors, communicating directly with clients, preparing cost estimates, and tracking budgets
  • A mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients, project stakeholders, coworkers, subcontractors, and other project team members
  • Initiative and motivation, with an emphasis on client service and cultivating long-standing relationships
  • Ability to travel to client locations and other Trihydro offices

The salary information shown below is a general guideline ONLY. Salaries are based on candidates' experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $75,000 – $120,000
