CC Environment & Planning is currently searching for an Environmental Science Technician to work on a variety of projects including wetland delineations, ecological surveys, land use and watershed plans, habitat restoration and management, and mitigation monitoring. This is a full-time position with a complete benefits package, flexible work schedule, and remote and in-office options. Primary Role/ Responsibilities: Conduct a variety of field work projects including wetland delineations, wildlife/threatened and endangered species surveys, annual mitigation monitoring, and habitat management as well as drafting reports for each. Assist with development and implementation of habitat management plans, restoration/mitigation plans, and research and inventory for land use management planning.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in environmental, natural resource or related sciences.
  • Exceptional communication (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with plant identification in the Northeast US.
  • Comfortable with both office environment and field work under a variety of conditions.
  • Able to work well as part of a team and independently without constant supervision.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years related work experience with strong references.
  • Proficiency with ArcGIS.
  • Experience with wetland delineation and reporting.
