NRP is looking for a proactive, highly organized, and tech-savvy Executive Assistant & Technology Specialist to support our directors and manage key technology across our land restoration operations. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives in a self-motivated, mission-driven environment and is passionate about habitat restoration and sustainability. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the CFO, while also improving and ensuring smooth technological operations to help sustain our operations and drive our environmental impact.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive.
Executive Support = 50% allocation of work
- Provide direct administrative support to the CFO, related to project management, scheduling, and field support.
- Set up new jobs in the company’s project management system, track and collect project documents, digital filing, audit time entries, invoice customers, and close out jobs.
- Prepare meeting materials and reports as requested.
- Customer communication and user support.
- Assist with HR and operational processes such as onboarding, scheduling, and communications.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, including contracts, and personnel files.
Technology Support = 50% allocation of work
- Provide day-to-day tech needs related to our project management program.
- Assess the team's current use of its project management program. Identify opportunities to enhance process efficiency, reporting, bidding, scheduling, and integration with Google Workspace. Ensure the project management program is being utilized effectively.
- Develop an NRP training manual for project Management program procedures and troubleshooting. Train new employees. Support Directors and Project Managers with troubleshooting, regular updates, and instructions.
- Support field and office teams with device setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance (laptops, tablets, GPS devices, etc.).
- Administer user accounts and ensure cybersecurity best practices are followed across devices and systems.
- Assist in selecting, implementing, and maintaining software solutions, including email platforms, file-sharing systems (Google Workspace), and field data collection tools.
- Collaborate with vendors or IT consultants for specialized technical needs.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in executive administrative support and/or technology support.
- Strong technical proficiency in cloud-based productivity tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, etc.).
- Experience supporting remote teams and managing digital tools in field-based work environments.
- Highly organized, with excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong teaching and mentoring experience.
- Self-motivated and effective in independent work settings.
- Basic cybersecurity and device management knowledge.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of or interest in land restoration, conservation, or environmental science.
- Working knowledge of project management software

Work Location: NRPs headquarters, in West Saint Paul, Minnesota.
Salary: $50,000-$55,000, depending on experience.
