Vida Verde is seeking a committed, dynamic Head of Program to lead our flagship overnight outdoor education program for 4th–6th grade students from low-income Bay Area schools. The Head of Program (HoP) manages a team of 4–5 instructors, ensures exceptional program delivery, and collaborates with leadership to uphold the organization’s mission of educational equity through nature connection.

The HoP lives and works on-site at our stunning coastal property in San Gregorio and plays a key role in building a high-functioning team and maintaining a joyful, values-driven staff culture. This is a highly relational, systems-oriented role for someone who thrives in both people leadership and operational excellence.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $50,000–$62,000 annually, depending on experience
• On-site housing provided (private room), valued at $12,000/year
• Total compensation package: approx. $62,000–$74,000/year
