WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHER
The Human Resources Administrator will be a part of the Washington, Oregon and Colorado Business Units recruiting team supporting the HR Coordinator and Recruiters with providing a timely and seamless recruitment process for both applicants and hiring managers. They will be responsible for all recruited relating scheduling and calendar management; position postings; coordinating communications between candidates, hiring managers and the recruiting team; maintaining recruiting data, systems and files; and generating recruiting related reports. They will also support other human resources related processes as needed, including performance partnership, supervisor/employee actions and training and development tracking.
This position has frequent engagement with staff and job applicants for TNC. The Human Resources Administrator will be able to effectively communicate or distribute information to assist in coordinating arrangements, making decisions, and solving problems. They will apply principles of confidentiality and discretion for all sensitive matters. The position will be based at one of the following TNC offices: Seattle, WA; Portland, OR; or Boulder, CO and will require the ability to work long and/or flexible hours when needed. The work environment involves only infrequent exposure to disagreeable elements and minor physical exertion and/or strain.

The ideal Human Resources Administrator is highly organized and is motivated when tracking and meeting frequent deadlines. You enjoy handling a variety of tasks, routinely review your task list to set priorities for the day and then communicate changes in timelines and schedules to your team and collaborators. You understand that details matter and pay close attention to getting those details right. Receiving a lot of requests from multiple people does not normally phase you because you are a master at sorting out bottlenecks and adapting to changing priorities. If you see a way to make something more efficient or easier to implement, you make that suggestion; if you see that learning a new skill or technology could help you grow and improve, you try it. You enjoy working with a wide variety of people, listening and supporting diverse perspectives and keeping confidentiality as needed.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- The equivalent combination of an Associate’s degree, HR professional certification or 2 years HR-related experience.
- Experience organizing time, establishing priorities, and managing diverse activities to meet frequent and ongoing deadlines.
- Experience maintaining files, processing paperwork, and data entry that requires accuracy.
- Experience responding to employee or customer inquiries.
- Experience working with a wide range of people.
- Experience working with MS Office software and database software.
- Experience managing multiple tasks.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Multi-lingual skills and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience appreciated.
- Experience handling confidential or sensitive information.
- Demonstrated customer service skills.
- Demonstrated attention to detail.
- Experience working in a high-volume environment.
- Skilled at prioritizing workload and communicating to make adjustments when needed.
- Experience adapting to changing priorities
- Basic understanding of, or willingness and ability to learn, fundamental HR concepts, processes, and services.
- Solid knowledge of word processing, database management, and spreadsheet software, with ability to construct and produce reports.
- Comfortable with technology and experience with, or ability to learn, Microsoft Outlook, PeopleSoft HRIS, video conferencing (Zoom), SharePoint, Box and other common office software.
- Interest in learning new systems and technologies that can lead to process improvement.

We believe in flexibility and as such, team members are working in a hybrid model: splitting workdays between home offices and using office workspace. This position requires a valid driver's license and compliance with TNC’s Auto Safety Program.
