The Lancaster County Conservation District is pleased to offer a fixed-term fall internship position available from mid-September through early December 2024. The position will be paid $14/hour up to 3 days per week.  The fall internship position will assist the Conservation District in executing several fall programs and events.  Most of the intern’s time will be spent in Education and Watershed departments.  Potential projects the intern would assist include fall tree planting and buffer maintenance, long profiles of stream projects, restoration projects, preparation for the 75th LCCD Anniversary and the Lancaster County Envirothon for grades 3-12, and water quality monitoring.
