An Invasive Species Field Biologist position is available with Colorado State University and The Center for Environmental Management of Military Lands, and duty-stationed on Guam in compliance with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service Mariana Islands Training and Testing Biological Opinion of 2015 and the Navy-funded Project Statement of Work that implement regional biosecurity measures to prevent introduction and promote control and management of invasive species. In fulfillment of these objectives, the Field Biologist will act on a Biosecurity team to conduct field data collection, and control invasive species and provide interdiction on the islands in support of US Navy Joint Region Marianas, located on Guam. Invasive species control includes brown tree snake, little fire ant, coconut rhinoceros beetle, and Tinian cycad scale.
