The Membership and Individual Giving Coordinator supports the philanthropic efforts of the Ice Age Trail Alliance’s Executive Director, Board of Directors, and staff. This includes managing the Alliance’s customer relationship management (CRM) database system, administering the Alliance’s membership program, executing donor acknowledgments, and facilitating individual giving. The Membership and Individual Giving Coordinator contributes to the Alliance’s fundraising goals annually and long term.
Successful applicant must:
- Have a Bachelor's Degree or related professional experience.
- Have a proven record of seeing projects through to completion.
- Be personable, with good public speaking capabilities, as well as good oral and written communication skills.
- Be a self-starter with good judgment and initiative to work without close supervision and create and promote new program.
- Have experience working with fundraising software, word processing, and email software.
- Be able to work under pressure, set and meet deadlines, set priorities, deal diplomatically with individuals, and positively motivate others.
- Be willing to learn and appreciate the scientific justifications for preserving the special glacial landscape highlighted by the Ice Age Trail.
Desired Attributes/trainings/certifications:
- Experience with, and interest in, a conservation and recreation-related organization
- Experience working in Virtuous fundraising platform
- Experience working with and analyzing large data sets for trends
- Past or present affiliation with non-profit, conservation, and recreation organizations
