In the hybrid (2-5 days per week in office) Office Manager role, you will be an integral part of the operations and stewardship teams by supporting The Nature Conservancy’s work across the Tri State Chapter (Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota). You will be responsible for:

  • Performing multiple administrative functions including scheduling and coordinating logistics for special events and/or meetings, purchasing, central filing, mailroom operations, facility management, telecommunications, and/or reception.
  • Performing Information Systems, Human Resources, and Finance administrative tasks, including processing forms, maintaining, tracking, researching data, preparing and reviewing reports and monitoring budgets.
  • Applying established processes and practices to improve effectiveness and to document program procedures  
  • Handling inquiries about Chapter activities and assist in the development of program materials and correspondence.
  • Assisting with the recruitment and training of program volunteers and may coordinate the activities of volunteers, colleagues and board members.
  • Coordinating activities with TNC staff including providing information necessary to make decisions, setting realistic deadlines, managing timelines, and solving problems.
  • Communicating on behalf of their supervisor with internal staff and external sources(donors, vendors, and businesses), to coordinate arrangements, convey information, and ensure successful execution of program
