THE OPPORTUNITY
As a member of the Corporate Relations team, the Project Coordinator, Corporate Relations helps engage the private sector in Ocean Conservancy’s work. The role supports the stewardship of the existing corporate portfolio and the cultivation of new prospects through coordinated logistics, timely communications, follow up, tracking, and overall administrative coordination and support.
The Project Coordinator contributes to a positive and respectful team culture while supporting all phases of corporate engagement, prospect development, and relationship management. Core activities include responding to corporate inquiries, scheduling and preparing for meetings, drafting proposals and reports, processing contracts and invoicing, tracking funder deliverables and deadlines, maintaining accurate records, conducting research, and drafting content for the website and e-newsletter. The coordinator will interact regularly with Legal and Finance to route agreements, ensure compliance, and complete close out documentation. The Project Coordinator will coordinate and maintain a system that serves as the single source of truth for status, next steps, and data integrity for the Corporate Relations team.
