Leadership
- Collaborate directly with PFC leadership to develop and refine restoration strategies that align with environmental restoration, conservation, and agricultural goals.
- Lead the planning and execution of ecological restoration projects, including on-site oversight, ensuring alignment with priority goals and objectives.
- Monitor the performance of PFC restoration goals, including the development and review of budgets and financial statements, and produce regular reports for the leadership team.
Project Implementation
- Manage restoration projects on private lands, including on-the-ground planning and execution of wetlands and riparian restoration.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables in coordination with team members.
- Regularly manage and report on project budgets, timelines, resources, and communications to ensure progress and successful completion.
- Interpret and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and policies related to ecological conservation and land restoration.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Partner with third-party partners and contractors, overseeing their work on ecological restoration projects.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, regulatory agencies, NGOs, and community organizations.
- Communicate project goals, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders in coordination with the PFC team and leadership.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, construction, and resource allocation.
- Experience working alongside agricultural or cattle ranching operations, with an understanding of the intersection between ecological and agricultural success (preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and permitting processes.
- Knowledge of best practices in ecological restoration and land management.
- Ability to work in varied environmental conditions and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Ecology, Natural Resource Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Knowledge of mitigation banking or other ecosystem service frameworks (a plus).
