The Senior Water Supply Specialist is responsible for the implementation of the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) for non-community water systems assigned in the Northeast Region. This is a critical position for public health, oversight, and technical resources to the systems it oversees for drinking water. This includes:

conducting sanitary surveys
preparing survey reports
conducting compliance and enforcement activities
reviewing water sample results
following contamination response procedures
providing technical assistance
training water system operators, owners, and/or samplers

This position serves as a member of the Public Water Supply Program of the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources' Drinking Water and Groundwater Program.
