DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will take on the responsibilities of a Project Manager overseeing a diverse range of grant projects focused on natural resource management, recreational development, and conservation planning within designated regions of the Commonwealth. Your role will encompass the coordination, evaluation, approval, and overall management of these projects, ensuring they align with established goals and standards. Additionally, you will be tasked with providing essential technical assistance and engaging in outreach and educational initiatives to further the mission of the Bureau. This multifaceted role requires a proactive approach to collaboration and communication, as you will work closely with various stakeholders to promote sustainable practices and enhance community awareness regarding natural resource conservation.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 5 days per pay period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Recreation and Conservation Advisor 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Two years of professional experience in parks, recreation, or natural resource conservation administration, planning, or development; and a bachelor’s degree in parks and recreation, landscape architecture, environmental sciences, city, regional, urban, or environmental planning, or a closely related field; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
