Position Overview
The Assistant Director supports the Director in all responsibilities and serves as acting Director during days off and holidays. This role combines operational management with fundraising, communications, and human resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and assume Director duties when required (off days, sickness, vacation)
- Manage social media and other outreach content
- Assist with fundraising initiatives
- Handle administrative tasks (permits, orders, logistics)
- Manage and support volunteers, ensuring a positive and motivating environment
- Manage HR processes and support staff relations
- Participate in animal husbandry and daily operations
Requirements
- Fluent in Spanish
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Animal husbandry experience
- Valid driver’s license
