About the Role: We are seeking an initiative-taking individual who enjoys learning and is enthusiastic about our environmental mission. In this pivotal role we seek a detail oriented individual to optimize our sales and marketing processes through detailed management and continuous improvement of our CRM system, Pipedrive. You will function as a critical link between our sales and marketing efforts, ensuring data integrity, efficient workflows, and actionable insights that drive revenue growth. This position is ideal for someone interested in building a career in climate technology and sustainable industries. A successful candidate thrives in dynamic environments where their contributions directly impact business success. 

What You Will Do:

  • CRM Administration and Optimization:
    • Be the primary administrator for Pipedrive, ensuring its optimal configuration and utilization.
    • Maintain and update CRM data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency to support sales and marketing efforts.
    • Develop and implement best practices for CRM usage, including lead management, pipeline stages, and reporting.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve CRM-related issues for the sales team/leadership.
  • Sales & Marketing Enablement:
    • Support the sales team by developing and maintaining sales playbooks, process documentation, and training materials.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure seamless leads flow from marketing campaigns to the sales pipeline.
    • Assist in the creation and refinement of sales and marketing materials, ensuring they are easily accessible and up to date within the CRM or other shared platforms.
    • Assist sales team in preparing for conferences and other presentations.
    • Perform follow-up calls to prospective customers, manage customer retention program, prepare and send samples and literature to prospective customers.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
    • Generate reports and dashboards from Pipedrive to provide insights into sales performance, pipeline health, and marketing effectiveness.
    • Identify trends, analyze key metrics, and recommend improvements to sales and marketing processes.
    • Assist CMO in developing and maintaining research files and dataroom.
    • Research and generate comparative product reviews, pricing analysis, market sizing studies etc.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Continuously identify opportunities to streamline and automate revenue-generating processes.
    • Work cross-functionally to implement new tools and technologies that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Maintain (Asana) project management tool.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Provide mixed administrative functions, including executive support as needed, to ensure smooth team operations.
    • Assist with scheduling, document preparation, and general tasks as needed.
  • Revenue Operations Strategy:
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of revenue operations strategies that align with company goals.
    • Stay informed about industry’s best practices and emerging technologies in the Revenue Operations space. 

What You Will Need:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, Business Administration, Environmental Sciences, Agricultural/Soil Science, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience with CRM administration and optimization, knowing Pipedrive a plus.
  • Experience with project management software is a plus. 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Docs, etc.).
  • Exceptional communication and people skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with sales, marketing, and executive teams. 
  • Ability to work independently and be a team player, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess a proactive and problem-solving mindset.

Bonus Points

  • Experience in the agriculture, environmental, climate or renewable energy sectors.
  • Familiarity with sales and marketing automation tools beyond CRM, including Artificial Intelligence. 
  • Prior experience in a start-up or growth-stage company.
