LCF hosts educational programs and facilities, including a field training school, internships, and visiting scholars. At its Myakka City lemur reserve, 55 lemurs representing six species live in family groups and multi-species habitats. LCF operates multiple conservation programs both from the reserve and through an office in Madagascar. Established in 1996, LCF is a leader in conservation, incorporating art into outreach programs and maintaining successful managed breeding programs in the U.S.

Additional duties will include training and supervising staff and interns, conducting occasional educational tours, and occasionally assisting with non-invasive research projects. The role also requires maintaining detailed records and collaborating with veterinary staff and conservation partners.
