The State Water Resources Control Board’s Division of Financial Assistance is seeking a Supervising Water Resource Control Engineer in the Office of Sustainable Water Solutions. Duties:
The Supervising Water Resource Control Engineer manages the Small Community Drinking Water / Wastewater Planning and Construction Section within the Office of Sustainable Water Solutions Branch, one of four branches within the Division of Financial Assistance. The Supervising Water Resource Control Engineer oversees all technical aspects of the Section’s administration of drinking water and wastewater funding programs that support construction and planning projects for small and medium-sized communities. This position also supports the Division in developing and implementing policies required to effectively administer those programs. The Supervising Water Resource Control Engineer is responsible for overseeing the functions of technical staff engaged in administration of the Safe and Affordable Drinking Water Fund, Drinking Water and Clean Water State Revolving Fund’s grant/principal forgiveness funding, state bond funding and other infrastructure appropriations.

Salary information – CalHR salary rules allow appointment at the entrance rate (Cal. Code Regs., tit. 2, § 599.673) of a classification. For classes with alternate ranges, placement is based on education/experience.
