YVSC is hiring a Fall Sustainability Intern to work with us in one of our 5 main priority areas: Energy, Transportation, Resilient Land & Water, Community Engagement, or Waste Diversion. Interns work 10-15 hours per week and are paid hourly for 12 weeks from September 15th through December 5th. 

This position is a good fit for students or young professionals looking to gain work experience at an environmentally focused non-profit. Interns are given a staff mentor who they work closely with to create an independently-led project that contributes directly to YVSC's programming. Interns will gain professional skills and become familiar with the functioning of a nonprofit organization and the innerworkings of local environmental initiatives and partnership. This internship is in-person and sometimes requires attendance at evening or weekend events. Interns must have access to local housing, transportation, and a computer.
