Work involves the hazard of climbing trees to cut limbs and prune branches at any height. This employee must be skilled in roping off procedures in areas of high risk and is required to work in such areas. This employee must also be able to set up job procedures, function as the lead person in a tree crew, and be familiar with the cabling, screw rodding, and cavity treatment of trees. The Tree Trimmer works under general supervision.

Minimum Qualifications:  At least three (3) years' experience in tree maintenance work at the level of a tree crew member and possession of a high school diploma or GED; or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training directly related to the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
