Wildland Firefighter (Fuels)

In this role, you will serve as a lead wildland firefighter and member of a fuels crew. You will be responsible to supervise and coordinate a workforce who performs project work with changing priorities due to the nature of the work (scheduled fuels treatments preempted by wildland fire or adverse weather conditions, wildland fire duties on and off district). Requirements include applying an understanding of firefighter safety, fire behavior, topography of the area, weather, fuels, and training in fire management, as well as directing assigned suppression operations.
