The Resource Specialist GIS will coordinate the stewardship and habitat restoration of the Ring Mountain Open Space Preserve. Primary responsibility of the Resource Specialist will be to implement the multi-year Ring Mountain Management, Stewardship, and Restoration Program Work Plan, and to fulfill the ongoing partnership agreement with The Nature Conservancy. Under direct supervision of Marin County Parks Chief of Natural Resources and Science, the Resource Specialist will oversee, implement, and monitor public access and habitat restoration projects; identify and manage non-native, invasive weeds; map and monitor rare plants; plan and manage public outreach programs.This position is grant-funded and position.
