The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Riverdale, ND is looking to hire 3 motivated individuals through the Student Conservation Association(SCA) to assist our Park Rangers during the upcoming recreation and field season!

End Date: August 28, 2026
Required Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must possess and maintain a valid state drivers license
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have the ability to effectively speak, read, and write in English
- Must have the ability to work outdoors and lift up to 40 pounds
- Must wear attire provided by SCA while on duty
Preferred Qualifications:
- Self-motivated with an interest in a career outdoors
- GIS mapping/Data collection skills
- Knowledge of the utilization of handheld tools
Hours:
40 Hours/Week
Living Accommodations:
-Housing is not provided. The USACE will provide resources for finding housing in the area upon selection for the position.
Compensation:
- Living Allowance: $350/Week
- Housing Allowance: $1,000/Month (4 payments)
- Commuting Allowance: $75/Week
- Up to $650 in reimbursement for relocation expenses
*All allowances are subject to applicable federal, state, and local taxes.
