This job posting is geared toward undergraduate students for Full-time SUMMER work. Guarantee of 40 hrs per week during SUMMER. The USDA Soybean Germplasm Collection manages over 20,000 different types of soybean and conserves them to maintain their distribution free of charge to domestic and international seed requestors conducting basic and applied research. Aid in indoor and outdoor activities concerning the growing and research of soybean plants. Tasks include but are not limited to weeding soybean research field plots, taking field notes, discarding soybean seed lots, cleaning soybean seed, and assisting in other soybean inventory tasks. Further opportunities exist for hands-on learning dependent on interest and aptitude.
