BU Transportation Services and “The BUCK”:

Boston University Transportation Services provides mobility options to the Boston University community including a private shuttle system, MBTA pass services, motor vehicle parking, and active transportation amenities. As part of Transportation Services’ Transportation Demand Management portfolio, the BU Cycle Kitchen (BUCK) encourages bicycling as an alternative to driving. The BUCK’s storefront space at 1019 Commonwealth Avenue is open Tuesday-Saturday for drop-in mechanical assistance/instruction, classes, community building events, and rides.

Bicycle Program Assistant Manager:

The Bicycle Program Assistant Manager is a teaching position based in the Boston University Cycle Kitchen (BUCK). They are responsible for teaching safe bicycling and bike repair through hands-on one-on-one mechanical instruction, group rides, classroom-based clinics, and development of print and web-based educational materials.
