GS-404-4/5/6, Bachelors degree in natural resources-related field required.
13-month Term appointment with possibility for benefits, may be extended up to 4 years.
Position serves as a Wildlife Specialist with the USDA Wildlife Services program in Minnesota on the Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza Wildlife Biosecurity Assessment project. Responsible for technical work involved in animal disease control in poultry and disease vector eradication programs within an assigned geographic area. Inspects and surveys poultry farms for possible wild vertebrate disease vectors. Independently recommends or implements the most effective tools/devices to mitigate the possibility of poultry encountering vertebrate disease vectors on farms.

Becker, Otter Tail, Wadena, Todd, Stearns, Kandiyohi, or Meeker County.
