About Us: Since 2007, Third Millennium Alliance (TMA) has worked tirelessly together with local communities, conservation partners, scientists, and international supporters to protect and restore one of the most endangered tropical forests on the planet – the Pacific Forest of Ecuador. With nearly 4,000 acres of Ecuadorian forest currently under management, including the Jama-Coaque Ecological Reserve, TMA has developed an innovative approach to conservation. TMA's community-based rainforest conservation efforts are centered around three interconnected programs: ecosystem preservation, forest restoration, and community development. Together, these programs create a holistic and sustainable approach that maximizes benefits for both people and the planet.

Why Join the TMA Board of Directors?
Support the worldʼs most biodiverse ecosystem and help combat global climate change by joining TMA's pioneering effort to protect and restore tropical rainforests in Ecuador using a combination of land purchase, community development, and an innovative economic incentives program structured around shade-grown cacao (i.e. chocolate). With an 18-year track record of transformative social and environmental impact, we're now poised for exponential growth and seeking visionary leaders to amplify our impact and shape a more sustainable future - will you join us?
