Campaign Manager
Grow the Flow
Salt Lake City, Utah
Background
Grow the Flow is an organizational affiliate of 501(c)(3) Conserve Utah Valley. We are uniting science, storytelling, and civic action to do what no community ever has before: restore its saline lake. We collaborate with farmers, faith leaders, scientists, students, and everyday Utahns to help our community understand that a healthy lake is the foundation of a thriving state. Together, we’re building the public will and political courage needed to secure lasting water policy, restore natural balance, and ensure that Great Salt Lake—and the people who depend on it—endure.
About the Role
We are seeking a strategic, politically savvy, and relationship-driven Campaign Manager to lead our efforts to build the political will necessary to restore Great Salt Lake. We approach this work like a political campaign—and our candidate is Great Salt Lake.
The Campaign Manager will develop and implement Grow the Flow’s political and organizing strategy, connecting government relations, coalition building, grassroots organizing, and communications into a coordinated effort to advance meaningful change.
Working closely with Grow the Flow staff, the Campaign Manager will cultivate relationships with policymakers, influential stakeholders, and community leaders across Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, and the United States. The ideal candidate understands how to build broad coalitions, navigate complex political landscapes, and turn public support into meaningful political action.
We are a growing organization, and you will be entering a workplace centered around collaboration, self-starting, and a team deeply motivated by our mission.
Type of work
32-40 hours, largely remote work week
Due to the nature of our work, candidates residing in the Great Salt Lake watershed with a personal interest in our cause will be prioritized. The position is remote with frequent in-person events for internal growth and community engagement. Work hours are generally flexible, though there are frequent deadlines and internal schedules that must be prioritized, but an employee’s actual work schedule can be worked out by mutual agreement.
