Positions available at Marin County Office of Education’s Walker Creek Ranch, a west Marin Outdoor Education and Conference Center located about 30 minutes west of Novato and Petaluma. Shifts beginning in June with more frequent weekday and weekend shifts available from July through the end of August 2025.
Lifeguard* ($24.83/hour) supports the conference center and hospitality services by overseeing waterfront activities at our 4-acre pond. A current American Red Cross Lifeguard certificate is required (additional open water certification and/or WFR a plus). Reimbursement for lifeguard recertification and/or training may be available. Summer orientation will take place on June 13th and lifeguard training is scheduled for June 16-18th.
Conference Helper* ($21.45/hour) supports the conference center and hospitality services by setting up, cleaning and breaking down lodging and meeting rooms, supporting dining hall and kitchen during mealtimes, and working with conference guests. Summer orientation will take place on June 13th
*It is possible to work in both capacities throughout the summer.
