Join ICCD as a PMSC AmeriCorps Conservation Coordinator and gain hands-on experience in water monitoring, wildlife care, riparian buffer plantings, environmental education, and volunteer engagement, while supporting conservation projects that make a real difference for Indiana County’s land and water.
This is a Pennsylvania Mountain Service Corps (PMSC)., AmeriCorps position for a total of 1200 hours from December 8, 2025 to August 1, 2026.
Minimum Qualifications
Successful candidates will possess a High School Diploma and an Associates Degree (preferred) in agriculture, environmental science, natural resource management or related field and have experience with GIS, water monitoring, water sampling,agriculture, education or other conservation work experience!
Job Compensation
Since this is a PMSC AmeriCorps position, all compensation is handled through the AmeriCorps program. AmeriCorps compensation includes a bi-weekly living stipend of $955; education award of $5,176.50, and other possible benefits as detailed by the AmeriCorps program advisors.
