Work Schedule & Location Details
- Full-time position
- Hours: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute lunch
- This is a field position covering project sites in: Allegheny, Armstrong, Butler, Cambria, Cameron, Clarion, Clearfield, Elk, Fayette, Indiana, Jefferson, Somerset, Washington, and Westmoreland Counties
- You will report to the Cambria District Office in Ebensburg on an as-needed basis
- Remote Work: When not traveling to project sites, you will work remotely from an approved location within Pennsylvania. A securely configured high-speed internet connection is required. If remote work is not available, you may report to the Ebensburg headquarters office. Remote work availability is subject to change.
What You’ll Do
- Inspect construction and reclamation projects for compliance with permits and plans
- Review materials, workmanship, safety practices, and erosion controls
- Document site activity, findings, and measurements
- Support environmental and construction compliance efforts
- Communicate findings and recommendations to project staff
What You Need
- Two years of construction inspection experience OR
- An associate degree in a related construction or engineering field OR
- An equivalent combination of experience and training
- Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license
- Applicants within three months of completing a qualifying degree will be considered.
