Work Schedule & Location Details

  • Full-time position
  • Hours: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute lunch
  • This is a field position covering project sites in: Allegheny, Armstrong, Butler, Cambria, Cameron, Clarion, Clearfield, Elk, Fayette, Indiana, Jefferson, Somerset, Washington, and Westmoreland Counties
  • You will report to the Cambria District Office in Ebensburg on an as-needed basis
  • Remote Work: When not traveling to project sites, you will work remotely from an approved location within Pennsylvania. A securely configured high-speed internet connection is required. If remote work is not available, you may report to the Ebensburg headquarters office. Remote work availability is subject to change.

What You’ll Do

  • Inspect construction and reclamation projects for compliance with permits and plans
  • Review materials, workmanship, safety practices, and erosion controls
  • Document site activity, findings, and measurements
  • Support environmental and construction compliance efforts
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to project staff

What You Need

  • Two years of construction inspection experience OR
  • An associate degree in a related construction or engineering field OR
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training
  • Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license
  • Applicants within three months of completing a qualifying degree will be considered.
