These part time remote positions start at $15.00/hour with potential for increase based on experience.  Start/end date negotiable, though targeted timeline is May 1 – August 15, 2024.

Digital Content Creator Associate -TikTok

Position Description

This creative role requires someone who can identify, create, and deliver digital content using a range of techniques, across channels such as social media and webinars.  We are interested in those with a communications background and/or studying communications. Responsibilities for this position include the following: 

  • Assist in writing communications materials including opinion editorials/guest columns, letters to the editor, web content, invitations, reports, event materials, etc.
  • Research and form new ideas for web/social media content (With experience on platforms such as Twitter and TikTok)
  • Create Tiktok videos and content on a weekly basis
  • Monitor relevant news media, help identify advocacy opportunities and craft calls to action and related communications materials.


  • Comfortable with a dynamic environment, and responding to quickly moving communications opportunities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and accurately
  • Ability to work well with others or independently
  • Highly responsible individual
  • Ability to be flexible and work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in usage of Google Suite (including Google Sheets, Docs, Forms, Slides)
  • Proficient in usage of social media platforms (including TikTok, Youtube, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram)
  • Proficient in Canva
  • Excellent current events / news sense and political savvy.
  • Commitment to environmental justice and understanding race, class, gender, and other equity issues as part of our work
