Electronic Media Producer Specialist 
Part-time, Non-permanent, Represented Position (WFSE)
Anticipated Non-permanent employment is October - November 2026
Work hours and telework flexibility may be available and considered
Salary: $4,300.00 - $5,779.00 Monthly

Responsibilities: 
Develops Videos and Public-Facing Communication Materials: Communicates and coordinates with natural resource professionals working in the Teanaway Community Forest; Generates questions for filmed interviews about career pathways, natural resources management and collaborative decision making that support accessible content for audiences in grades 6-12; Films and edits day in the life videos highlighting careers in natural resources; Films and edits interviews with partner organizations and DNR staff to support students in grades 6-12 to understand land management decision-making; Films video content highlighting the uniqueness and beauty of the Teanaway Community forest; Reviews curriculum on the Teanaway Community Forest developed by DNR’s Youth Education and Outreach Program and makes recommendations on integration of video content.

Markets and Distributes Curriculum and Videos: Creates graphics highlighting videos produced to support classroom instruction on natural resources management; Distributes and solicits feedback on informational videos and graphics, to assess the effectiveness of the produced media; Integrates feedback from DNR staff, community partners, educators and students to improve video clarity, content, and engagement; Participates in teacher outreach events to introduce curriculum and video content, if available.

  • Experience producing and editing professional videos
  • Experience with natural resources management
