What You’ll Do
- Conduct ecological and stream assessments
- Collect geomorphic and vegetation data
- Perform wetland and stream delineations
- Support permit preparation and agency coordination
- Monitor and document site conditions to support project success
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in the field and office
What We’re Looking For
- 1–5 years of relevant environmental science experience
- Skills in stream surveying, vegetation sampling, or hydric soil ID
- Plant ID skills (native and invasive species)
- Experience with stream/wetland delineations
- Familiarity with GPS units, ArcGIS Pro, or ESRI data tools
Bonus Skills
Technical writing, agency coordination, NC ecological assessment methodology, endangered species surveys, macroinvertebrate analysis, and knowledge of stream, wetland and/or riparian buffer restoration practices in the Southeast.
