Do you have native plant landscape installation experience and are looking to take the next step with your career? Consider that next step with Landbridge Ecological, a company specializing in the installation and management of native plant landscapes in the Twin Cities and surrounding upper midwest region. Projects may be as small as a raingarden or as large as multi-acre parkland. These projects can range from highly designed corporate or residential landscapes featuring native species to traditional ecosystem restoration.

Landbridge Ecological is currently in search of an Install Field Coordinator (FC). This is a field leadership role within the organization that is tasked with the successful installation of native plant landscapes. The position is responsible for ensuring installations are performed safely, efficiently, on budget, and are accomplishing the intended outcomes of the landowner and designer. Additionally this role oversees crew managers and teams, ensuring they have the information and tools necessary to successfully perform their tasks. FCs work independently or alongside crews to execute daily installation tasks. 

Successful candidates should have at least 2 years of experience installing native plant landscapes. This includes seeding, planting, and erosion control application. Experience with landscape installation utilizing small and large equipment is a plus. This could include tractor operations such as: drill seeding, harrowing, tillage, discing, etc. Tractor and/or skidloader experience is preferred. Experience with soil preparation and stabilization is a plus. Traditional landscape installation or farming experience can be supplemented for native landscape experience if the skillsets are similar. The successful candidate will have experience providing leadership and accountability to a team of people. Knowledge of Minnesota native and non-native species is a plus. Experience with land management tasks such as invasive species control and prescribed burning is a plus. 

Starting wages vary based upon experience, ranging from $25-$30/hr. Employees are eligible for benefits such as prevailing wage, holiday pay, vacation time, retirement match, HRA, and annual gear stipend. Prevailing wages are on select jobs, and are not guaranteed, but may be as high as $50+/hour.
