Be a part of the Legacy. Conservation Legacy is looking for a Field Operations Coordinator to work in our eastern region.  This vital role will focus on collaboration, consultation, systems development and monitoring of Conservation Legacy’s field operations practices and policies.  The coordinator will work closely with program and regional staff across the organization to promote and support the highest quality member experience where it intersects with risk management, leadership development and training, and standard operating procedures – ensuring that the same high standards of programming are met nationwide.  The position will involve significant travel to program and field sites to engage in dialogue and monitoring.

We are a leading national conservation service organization dedicated to supporting local and regional service programs, raising the bar on impact, diversity, equity, inclusion, and innovation in community-based conservation efforts. We operate impactful, high-quality local conservation programs which engage and empower participants to complete priority projects for local communities and land management partners, enriching the lives of all who live in those communities.

Join us in making an impact by training new staff in Conservation Legacy field policies, risk management procedures, and centralized systems.  The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the outdoor industry field operations or related background.  Experience with corps or other outdoor programming risk management and resource development for multiple stakeholders is also required. The position will be based in our eastern region and the candidate should reside near one of Conservation Legacy's eastern program offices in Chattanooga, TN, Beckley, WV. Harrisonburg, VA, or Raleigh, NC.

Conservation Legacy offers:

  • Flexible work arrangements to enable you to meet the requirements of your role.
  • Incredible and dedicated team of coworkers passionate about the outdoors and service.
  • Full benefit package

We welcome your interest in “engaging future leaders who protect, restore, and enhance our nation’s lands through community-based service” and hope to see your application materials.
